About us
Chester Street is one of the oldest Baptist fellowships in Britain (we can trace our history back to the 1630's) but our focus is on what Jesus is doing in his church today. We are a Bible-based, mature and friendly community, committed to glorifying God in our lives, in worship and in serving others with the love of Jesus. As a Church we support Missionaries working with BMS World Mission. We also support "Feeding the Roofless" - a ministry of Wrexham Churches to support the homeless people in our town & our local Food Bank.

Our church is pastored by Rev. Ken Evans and his wife Carol. Formerly a Chartered Accountant, Ken was called into Baptist Ministry at the age of 56, having already spent 22 years serving in a leadership capacity on both Baptist and Community Church Fellowships. Their focus in ministry is "Discipleship in the power pf the Holy Spirit" Ken and Carol have three married children and seven (and counting!) grandchildren.

Our Vision: To be a Holy Spirit filled,Faith building, disciple making, Community of Love.
